Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Auditor to join the Internal Auditing Organization. The successful candidate will lead audit engagements, evaluate financial and operational processes, and help strengthen the company’s governance, risk management, and internal control systems.

This role requires strong analytical capabilities, leadership skills, and extensive experience in financial auditing and reporting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze financial statements to identify audit focus areas and potential risks.
  • Design, execute, document, and report audit testing related to financial reporting processes, balances, disclosures, and controls.
  • Evaluate key business and financial processes to identify current and emerging risks.
  • Plan, conduct, and report internal audit engagements.
  • Define audit objectives, scope, and risk-based audit programs.
  • Lead and supervise audit teams, including mentoring junior auditors.
  • Communicate audit findings, concerns, and recommendations with clients and management.
  • Prepare audit reports and field memorandums.
  • Deliver presentations during audit opening and closing meetings.
  • Assess the performance and development needs of assistant auditors.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    (Advanced degree preferred.)
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in:
    • External auditing,
    • Public accounting firms, or
    • Financial reporting within publicly listed companies.
  • Strong experience with the adoption and application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Professional certification such as:

    • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or
    • CA (Chartered Accountant).

    CIA certification is considered an advantage.

  • Excellent English communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel within and outside Saudi Arabia for audit and consulting engagements.
